The plain one that turns out to be the useful one. Clarity and amplification.
The aesthetic
Clear quartz grows as six-sided prisms ending in a point, sometimes glass-clear the whole way through, more often clouded, veiled or shot with fractures that catch the light. It forms in cavities and veins wherever silica-rich water has had time to sit still, which is nearly everywhere, making it one of the most abundant minerals on earth. Pieces range from single points small enough to lose to clusters of a hundred terminations growing off one plate.
The dynamic
Clear quartz is traditionally described as a master stone: associated with clarity, focus and intention, and with strengthening whatever it is paired with rather than carrying one fixed quality of its own.
