Green quartz flecked with mica. Luck, and the calm that lets it find you.
The aesthetic
Aventurine is a massive quartz shot through with tiny plates of mica that throw back scattered glints, an effect named aventurescence after the stone itself. Green is the common colour, from fuchsite mica, but the same structure occurs in peach, blue and grey. It takes a good polish and is usually seen tumbled, carved or cut into palm stones rather than as crystals.
The dynamic
Aventurine is widely called a stone of luck and opportunity, and is associated with a settled, optimistic sort of calm rather than an energetic one.
